Govar – Terms of Use

Welcome to Govar!

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Govar mobile application and related services ("Service") operated by Dzianis Yatsenka, a sole proprietor registered in the Slovak Republic, acting on behalf of GOVAR SPEAKING PRACTICE CLUB INC., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, downloading the app, or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Govar. We do not allow the use of our Service by individuals under the age of 18.

2. Registration and Consent

By registering an account, you:

  • Agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy
  • Consent to receiving service-related messages, updates, and occasional marketing emails or push notifications
  • Confirm that any information you provide is accurate and up to date

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Govar offers paid subscriptions (weekly, monthly, and yearly) that automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

  • Subscriptions through App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by the respective platforms. You can cancel them through your device settings
  • Occasionally, we offer subscriptions through our website via Stripe. Those can be cancelled by contacting our support
  • Prices and availability of plans may change without notice
  • We reserve the right to introduce one-time purchases or special offers in the future
  • Unless required by local law, payments are non-refundable

4. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. Features may be updated, removed, or restricted without notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Govar for commercial purposes, including selling access, promoting services, or advertising
  • Impersonate others, harass users, or engage in unlawful behavior
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to copy any part of the Service
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to interact with the app

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and features are owned by GOVAR SPEAKING PRACTICE CLUB INC. or its licensors. You may not use our name, logo, or materials without permission.

You retain rights to any content you contribute, but grant us a non-exclusive license to use it for operating and improving the Service.

7. Feedback and Educational Use

We may use anonymized data, including error feedback from conversations, for improving the product and (if consented) sharing insights with language schools or tutors for educational purposes.

8. Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable international laws. In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction will be determined based on your location or applicable law at our discretion. If you experience any issues, we encourage you to contact support first at support@govar.online or via in-app chat. We aim to resolve all issues quickly and fairly.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service inappropriately.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Govar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed $100 USD.

11. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The latest version will always be available in the app.
